When summer arrives, we relax our routines a bit and put aside good nutrition, exercise,... we go out more, we have more social life and we usually gain a few kilos. That is why at SPALAS we want to share with you 5 tips so that you can maintain your figure even on vacation.

1. HYDRATION:

To combat the summer heat, it is best to continue with good hydration. Always carry a bottle of water with you, on the beach, if you go for a walk... It is also advisable to consume fruits and vegetables, rich in vitamins and antioxidants, and also help to hydrate your body.

2. TAKE ADVANTAGE TO EXERCISE ON THE BEACH:

Going to the beach to rest is not an excuse for not exercising. On the beach you can practice different activities that help you stay in shape such as taking long walks along the shore, swimming in the sea, practicing yoga or Pilates exercises in the towel, playing paddle tennis... there are many ways to enjoy the sea and the beach and at the same time exercise.

3. BALANCED DIET:

We know that it is difficult to maintain the diet during the summer when we are not at home, we have more commitments and meals away from home, but you can always compensate for excesses with more detox days. Always combine food with vegetables and fruits and it will help you regulate your body. Try not to eat copious meals after 8:00 p.m. and control your alcohol consumption.

4. PLAY OTHER SPORTS:

Being on vacation gives you more time to discover other different sports, if you are in a beach area you can practice countless water sports such as paddle surfing, caiac, windsurfing,... and if your vacations are inland it is also time to try sports such as hiking, mountain biking, etc. Any excuse is good to move!

5. LEAVE THE CAR:

Take the opportunity to park your car these days, you have more time and you can walk to more places than you think. Climb stairs instead of taking the elevator, take the bike to get around, it all adds up!
