Atmananda Yoga
Wellness 13/05/2022
When we talk about Yoga there are different varieties and modalities: Hatha yoga, Kundalini, Vinyasa,... and at SPALAS we also teach Atmananda Yoga classes. "Atma" means spirit and "ananda" happiness; that is to say that atmananda refers to maintaining a happy spirit.
The Atmananda sequence is a modern Vinyasa -style practice that is rooted in traditional disciplines. It is made up of 71 postures, worked on 7 levels, incorporating elements of traditional Hatha, Iyengar and Ashtanga yoga, intertwined by series of vinyasas to achieve an intense and deep practice at all levels.
Through the repeated and constant practice of yoga postures, you will be able to observe how the physical body is transformed, while the mind and emotions are transformed.
The constant and systematic practice of this yoga sequence helps to correct structural imbalances, thanks to the alignment work we do with the body.
An ideal practice to achieve balance between body and mind that will help you achieve that tranquility and emotional stability that you are looking for and that is so necessary today.
At SPALAS we do this type of yoga on Wednesdays at 9:30 a.m. If you want to come and try a class, call us and we will inform you: 977 37 42 56.
